5 Ways to Boost Your Immunity

Advertisements encourage us to use various supplements. Sure, that's one way. Simply go to the pharmacy and buy a remedy for all ills. However, there's a trap here – you should not self-supplement, as overdosing on vitamins can do more harm than good. The dosage of supplements should be conducted with the knowledge and consent of a doctor. Strengthening your immunity is best done through natural methods. These include:

1. Diet – a well-balanced diet that includes sources of protein, vegetables, and fruits will provide your body with the essential vitamins, micro, and macro elements it needs to function properly.

2. Walking – a walk in the fresh air for at least an hour a day not only oxygenates the body but also improves mood.

3. Ventilation – we tend to overheat our homes, which leads to the development of mites. Ventilating the rooms where we spend time and sleep should be done every day.

4. Sleep – insufficient sleep adversely affects the immune system, so ensure you get an adequate amount.

5. Dress appropriately for the weather – overheating can be more dangerous than chilling, especially for children – by over-bundling them, we make it harder for them to adjust to temperature changes.

Body hardening is the best way to strengthen the body. It has another important advantage – you can start it at any time.
