Winter Day Camps

School holidays are eagerly awaited by children and teens as a time for rest. Parents can't always take leave during winter breaks, summer vacations, or when preschools are closed. They can't always send the kids to grandparents or leave them alone at home, as this time is likely to be spent watching TV or playing video games. In such cases, day camps are a perfect solution!

What are the benefits of day camps?

  1. Supervision during hours that allow you to drop off your child before work and pick them up afterward.
  2. Provided meals – most organizers offer lunch and an afternoon snack.
  3. A set daily schedule dedicated to fun, learning, and development.
  4. The option to participate in activities on a weekly or daily basis.
  5. The opportunity to develop passions, gain new experiences, and meet peers.

How to choose a day camp?

Winter day camps are an excellent alternative for spending the school break. Under the watchful eye of qualified staff, children participate in various forms of fun. Sports, entertainment, tourist centers, and others compete with offers, so you can choose from culinary, laboratory, language, Lego building, dance, and sports activities (ice skating, skiing).

If your child isn't sporty and isn't keen on outdoor activities, there's still plenty to choose from – many of the mentioned workshops take place indoors. A wide selection of themes for day camps also means different prices. Some activities are quite expensive, but you can also find ones that will suit your child and not break the household budget.

The majority of winter day camp organizers adhere to sanitary and safety requirements, so groups are limited, rooms are regularly ventilated, objects that children come into contact with are disinfected, and parent access to workshop rooms is restricted. Each organizer has their own rules, which must be read and followed.
