How Much Does a Summer Camp Cost?

The average cost of booking camps in 2024 is 2711.82 PLN. However, prices vary depending on the length of stay:

  1. Short trips (1 week):
These cost an average of 1,900 PLN, with a daily cost of 271 PLN. Shorter trips usually offer an intensive program, making them ideal for younger children experiencing being away from home for the first time.

  2. Medium trips (2 weeks):
Two-week camps are the most common choice for parents, averaging 2,700 PLN, which amounts to 193 PLN per day. This is an optimal length, balancing affordability with a diverse program of activities.

  3. Long trips (3 weeks or more):
The longest trips, lasting 21 days or more, offer the best value for money, costing an average of 4,000 PLN, or 190 PLN per day. Longer camps give children more time to connect with peers and fully immerse in the program.

One of the most affordable camps that gained significant interest this year was the 6-day Survival in the Kashubian Forest at a remarkable price of 1499 PLN. The most expensive reserved camps had a budget exceeding 10,000 PLN for two weeks with an English course abroad.

What Affects the Cost of a Trip?

Several factors influence the cost of a trip:

  • Camp location:
Camps in attractive tourist areas, such as seaside towns, mountains, or the Masurian Lake District, generally have higher prices.

  • Camp theme:
Specialty camps, such as sports, arts, or survival camps, are more expensive due to the need for qualified staff and specific equipment requirements like quads, paintball, pools, or professional sports halls.

  • Accommodation standard:
Accommodation can range from luxury hotels to tents or youth hostels. A higher standard means higher costs, but children can have a great time regardless, making new friends, sharing laughs, and creating wonderful memories that don't depend on hotel stars 😊

Parents must carefully consider the duration of the trip and the standard of accommodation that will be most suitable for their child, taking into account both costs and expected benefits.
