Welcome to the Nile Wilson Gymnastics Residential Course 🤸‍♂️🏠, designed to support squad gymnasts in achieving their personal best 🌟. This course provides a comprehensive training programme 💪 that fosters growth, development, and a love for gymnastics 💖. The Nile Wilson Gymnastics Residential is a residential gymnastics camp 🏕️ for squad and squad-aspiring children and teenagers aged 11-17 👦👧 This course is designed specifically for Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnasts meeting the following criteria: 🏅 Minimum Age: Gymnasts must be 11 years old in the year (born 2014 or earlier) 🎂 🤸‍♀️ Development or Performance Grades Gymnasts (WAG) Pre-requisite Skills: All Gymnasts: Round-off flick tuck back on the fast track 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️Giant and upstart on a metal bar 🏋️‍♂️Handspring over the vault (any height) 🤾‍♀️ WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics): Beam skills must include a back walkover and working towards a flick 💃 MAG (Men’s Artistic Gymnastics):Circle on mushroom 🌀Inlocate and dislocate on rings 🤾‍♂️Swing to handstand on parallel bars 💪

🌞 This camp is an absolute treat for young gymnastics enthusiasts! Over 6 days, participants will have the chance to develop their skills under the guidance of top coaches, taking part in exciting training sessions, workshops, and friendly competitions. 🤸‍♀️ 🔥 Daily schedule at the camp 🔥 Morning training sessions: Introduction to basic and advanced gymnastics techniques. Focus on balance, strength, and flexibility to help participants improve in various gymnastics disciplines. 💪🤸‍♂️ Specialized equipment training: Coaching on different apparatus such as the balance beam, parallel bars, vaulting, and trampolines. Participants will have the opportunity to refine their technique on each one! 🏋️‍♀️ Mental and motivational workshops: Participants will learn how to handle stress and competition, helping them achieve better results. 🧠💥 Strength and conditioning workouts: Daily exercises to build strength, essential for improving performance in all gymnastics events. 🔥 Afternoon games and friendly competitions: Everyone will participate in fun, friendly contests to test how much they’ve progressed during the camp. Winners will receive rewards! 🏆🎖️ Evening activities and entertainment: After a day full of training, participants can enjoy relaxation time – evening games, team-building activities, movies, and more, offering a chance to bond with peers. 🎮🎉

    Additional information

    On camp we have a first aid qualified staff member who is trained to deal with accidents and illnesses. Should your child suffer a serious injury or illness you will be contacted immediately. All accidents are reported using our Proactive health and safety management platform, which allows staff to report all incidents to head office. Please ensure you make us aware of any medical conditions or relevant medication prior to camp.
