The Great Owl measures 1015 m above sea level and belongs to the Crown of the Polish Mountains. Although it sounds impressive, this peak is very easy to reach and will give a lot of satisfaction to beginner walkers. 🙂 The renovated observation tower on the Great Owl clearing offers a great view of the surrounding area.

The 44-meter stone structure makes a huge impression! At the end, we have a moment of respite on the beach.

A military facility belonging to the mysterious Riese complex (German: "giant"), built by the Third Reich. Work on it began in mid-1943. The purpose of the construction was kept secret and to this day there is no clear answer. According to some, it was to be the secret headquarters of Adolf Hitler. Others say that halls were built for underground arms factories for the production of secret weapons. "Osówka" is the most interesting and longest underground complex built in the Owl Mountains. A must-see for a trip to Lower Silesia!

A perfectly preserved stronghold with a torture chamber, rising on the border of the Owl Mountains and the Wałbrzych Mountains, which can be reached by an extremely interesting trail running along Lake Bystrzyckie.
