Theatre Workshops – play the heroes of legends and take part in the performance, using masks and elements of stage design. When visiting the Ark in Pławna, you will learn how the image of Christ has changed in Poland over the years, as well as see Orthodox icons from abroad. Inside the Ark there is a replica of the Decalogue Tablet and excavation crosses. Their age was estimated at about 150 to 200 years. The most valuable exhibit, however, is undoubtedly the Bible from 1733, written in Gothic, in German. You hear right, the truest Noah's Ark straight from the Old Testament. It stood on an empty field, near the Castle of Silesian Legends and the Knights' Castle. It measures 40 meters long, 15 meters wide, and 10 meters high. EDUCATIONAL PACKAGES FOR SCHOOLS 1. Silesian legends have their beginning... in a great Knights' Fortress in Magiczna Pławna. This is where the Ghost of the Mountains lived, which has become a permanent part of the history of the Giant Mountains. See what the historic Trojan Horse looked like and get inside. In the Knights' Town, you can take on the role of a real knight, in invisible shining armor, at least for a moment. It will definitely help in this and will maintain the climate, a towering wooden palisade, with pointed piles. It was erected around the castle, just like those in the Middle Ages. In the heart of the medieval Knights' Castle, among wooden huts, there is a replica of the Trojan Horse available to everyone, from our youngest friends to the oldest. Anyone can explore its interior. Incredibly interesting history lesson, isn't it? The Medieval Knight's Castle in Pławna is guarded by the only, most powerful and true ruler of the Giant Mountains. They call him variously... Ghost of the Mountains, Liczyrzepa or maybe Turnip? We can see Him in the distance, guarding the castle and welcoming the guests who come to us.
