Semi-colonies in Clement's Gardens - Understanding the Elements

Day 1 – Secret powers of learning On the first day, children discover what experiments are and how the laws of physics and chemistry work. Clement introduces them to the world of great scientists and shows that every thing around us is a small puzzle to solve. Little explorers learn the basics of safe experiments and perform the first experiments that will surprise them with their simplicity and unusual effects. Values: Curiosity, discovery, first steps in learning Day 2 – Water and earth element The second day is the exploration of two amazing elements – water and earth! Young scientists learn why water can be solid, liquid and gaseous, and how lightning is produced. They study the properties of the soil, create their own volcanoes and experiment with colored foam. They also face a mysterious puzzle related to how nature uses water and land to survive. Values: Learning by playing, experimenting, respect for nature Day 3 – The power of air and invisible forces On this day, children discover the secrets of air and invisible forces! How is it possible that airplanes fly and the wind is so powerful? Young researchers are building their own rockets and checking how air pressure works. They will also discover how sound travels in the air and how to create music without instruments. Finally, Clement tells them a secret message hidden in the air – but only those who solve all the tasks will be able to read it! Values: Logical thinking, discovering physical phenomena, creativity Day 4 – Fire and Energy A day full of excitement, because it's time for the most exciting element – fire! But don't worry, everything is completely safe. Children will learn what energy is, how fire is created and how it can be used. They learn why some things burn and others don't, and how people have learned to control the heat. Finally, together they create glowing experiments that will make them feel like real inventors! On this day, there may also be a bonfire, to crown the topic 🙂 Values: Responsibility, safety, fascination with science Day 5 – Clement's Secret and the Grand Finale! After four days full of experiments, the children are ready for the last mission! They uncover Clement's great mystery and solve the ultimate scientific riddle. Together, they create their own inventions and present them to others, showing what they have learned. And finally… a crazy surprise experiment that will make them feel like real scientists!
