Participants during the science camp carry out classes in the field of the selected program. ⚛️ Physics - basic program Apparently, physics is difficult and no one has ever understood it. That's why our physics class is initially a storytelling class. We try to introduce young people to the issue in a language understandable to them, stimulate their imagination and make them think. The most important thing is to understand the discussed issue at a level as close to intuition as possible. And we claim that it can be done in understandable language. But because man does not live by fairy tales alone, we later try to frame all this in an age-appropriate mathematical apparatus for young people. And that's where the fun that everyone likes the most begins. 🔭 Physics for high school graduates You are a student of class III LO or IV technical high school, you are considering technical studies and a baccalaureate in physics. As part of the Osada Wiedzy camp, we offer a matriculation course, as part of which you will learn how to solve matriculation problems, what to pay attention to when solving the matriculation sheet. What are the "certainties" on the physics exam, which tasks cause the most difficulties. We will dig through the theory and tasks from all high school physics departments. The course will enable you to make a matriculation decision and facilitate preparations for the pending matriculation exam in physics. As part of the course, everyone will receive a set of matriculation assignments and a matriculation vademecum. In addition, you will participate in psychoeducational classes in the field of positive psychology and mindfulness, which will teach you how to deal with stressful situations, strengthen your value and self-confidence, and teach you how to manage the emotional process. Thus, we practice logical thinking and problem solving. At the camp, we get into issues that students will meet at the very beginning of the new school year. In this way, we want to provide them with confidence in their skills and a peaceful return to mathematics lessons. At the same time, giving specific tools to work in the field of physics. Mathematics during classes for high school graduates focuses primarily on selected issues needed for the high school diploma in a given subject. 💻 Programming Programming classes are conducted depending on the advancement of the participants. It can be learning the basics of programming and algorithms (in one of three languages: C++, Python, JavaScript). For advanced users, it can be solving tasks on the border of IT Olympics, based on data structures or graphs, or creating a practical project. Each type of activity is designed to develop a passion for programming and to help you understand computers and computer science, as well as to link programming with mathematics and physics. 🤝 Social competences The classes are aimed at the development of personality, including, among others: shaping self-esteem, self-confidence, learning to set life goals, building the way to their implementation, shaping the ability to objectively select opinions reaching the participants so that they can take care of their self-esteem, building faith in their own capabilities, shaping motivation to achieve goals, the ability to build their own positive affirmations, proper relationships with others, assertive attitudes in order to defend their own living space. ⛱️ Free time The free time of the camp participants is the use of the beach or the volleyball court. Free time is also allocated to individual consultations with teachers conducting classes, mentoring as well as scientific discussions of camp participants. The Settlement Tournament will also be played during the camp. Participants will be divided into groups. During the camp, they will solve various tasks in mathematics, physics and programming. On days when there will be no lectures, participants will start group tasks, e.g. logical and strategic board games. On the last day of the camp, a kayaking trip is organized, in which the parents and guardians of our participants can participate.
